Notary Registrations
From here you will be guided through the application for a Delaware
Notary commission. You must be a Delaware resident or maintain an office or regular
place of employment in Delaware. You must be at least eighteen years old, be a citizen
or permanent legal resident of the United States, have a reasonable need for a notary
commission, and be of good character and reputation.
Answer each of the following questions truthfully. False statements or misrepresentations
will subject you to a claim of perjury under Delaware law. (Title 29, ยง4307(f)).
Unless otherwise indicated, every question must be answered. As you move through
the application, context-sensitive help screens will appear on the right side of
each page. To activate the help screen for a specific question, simply select its
entry field using your mouse or tab button.
In some cases, you may have received a seven-digit Company ID number from your
employer, from a Corporate administrator or directly from the state. If you have
been issued such a number, you will need to have it to facilitate this process.
Most applicants will not have been issued a Company ID number and can proceed
directly from here.
